  7. Has anyone successfully made this top? I have started but I'm stuck at the armhole shaping. I really want to complete this pattern but don't seem to have enough chains when working on Row 11. So I'm stuck at this Row and can't complete it based on the instructions. Any help suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    1. did you ever get your answer? I have the same problem. The whole pattern was easy to read until I got to the arm hole and it isn't coming out right.

  13. To those stuck on R 11, look at the picture. You are creating sort of a cap sleeve. You chain 36 to created the underarm and the skipped shells create the cap and the sleeve opening. The next round, you will be crocheting down from the chains all the way around. It sounds confusing at first but once you do it, it makes perfect sense. One of my first baby patterns 30 years ago was a baby pinafore based on the same idea and it didn't make sense to me then either but it worked up nicely.
